The Sunday Scoop, December 7 edition

Happy Sunday Bushy Park Families!

We are officially counting down to the end of 2025!  Who can believe it?  We have 12 more school days, 2 donation drives, and 1 more fun filled PTA event left, read on to find out more:

🌲 The giving tree has returned! 

School is collecting hats, socks, and gloves in new condition to benefit GrassRoots Crisis Center.  Hang yours up today.

🥫 Girl Scouts Canned Food Drive—ends 12/12

BPES Girl Scouts are collecting canned food for delivery at the Lisbon Farmers Feed the Hungry parade.  Boxes are located in the school vestibule and will benefit the Howard County Food Bank and other local organizations.

🍪 Cookies & Community Friday 12/19 — Learn more

🥠 Cookies- We will provide store bought cookies with allergens and ingredient info available to families who need it.  If you want to bring some more cookies to share or enter into a contest, sign up here!

👚 Silly Sweater Contest (you can sign up when you arrive)- the sillier the better!

📚 Book Swap- bring a gently used book to exchange with friends if you want something new to read over break.

🧦 Donation Drive- We will continue collections for GrassRoots Crisis Center from their wish list at the event if you are able to contribute!
