Sunday Scoop, March 22 edition - If You Need Me, I'll be in the Garden

Happy Sunday Bush Park Families!

This week’s Scoop is intentionally brief because False Spring #2 has arrived and I am currently outside making questionable life choices in the garden. Yes, I know it’s probably too early. No, that is not stopping me. Between the sunshine, the birds chirping, and the dangerous illusion that winter is behind us, I’m trying to cram in as much cleanup as possible before reality (read: another cold snap) returns.  Or the pollening hits, whichever comes first.

Speaking of spring, reminder that Bushy Blooms sales close soon. We are also hosting a yard sale during pickup (May 9), so please register for a spot if you want to clean out your closets and tot-swap with your neighbors.

While we're on the subject of to- do lists, a reminder that Kindergarten registration is open!  When you register your youngest bear cubs, remember that BPES is required to follow state documentation policies.  We all know it's frustrating to rustle up all the paperwork and show your ID, but we don't make the rules.  A little extra grace goes a long way to help everyone shine brighter.

Reminders from last week include:

  • NEW after school activities added to our website

    • Volleyball, open to K-5 with separate session for Middle School if you have older siblings who may be interested.  Register here for sessions Friday after school from 4/17-5/22

    • Soccer with Mrs. Lyter and Mrs. Birsa.  4/8-5/17, open to grades 1-5.  Click here to register and then head to our store to checkout.

  • Yearbook orders are OPEN, click here to get yours today.

Here’s what you need to know this week:

  • Things are happening! Notably, we have provided you an excuse to skip cooking dinner on Tuesday by joining us for a spirit day at Tony Loco's!

  • You should check all this and more out in our March Newsletter!

  • I promise more details when I’m not covered in dirt and optimism!

Wishing you all a week full of sunshine, fresh air, and slightly premature spring projects.
