🌦️ Sunday Scoop, March 15 edition - Mother Nature may be Confused, But the PTA Isn’t!

Hello Bushy Park Families,

This week certainly kept us on our toes! The weather pulled a classic Maryland move when temperatures dropped from 80 to 30 faster than a driver spotting a speed trap on 97. Then threw a full tantrum about it.  If you managed to keep up with the wardrobe changes alone, you deserve a gold star.  Not to mention the parent's who managed to send kids to school despite having spotty (or no) power.  You all are rockstars!  Proof the Bushy Park Community shines even when the lights go out.

This week was notable not just for the weather, we had our older grade paint night as well.  Let me tell you, this was LLAMA-zing!  So much creativity, connection, and character packed into one fun evening.  Major shout out of appreciation to the resident artists behind the fun, our own Mr. Van Meter and Mr. Hopkins.  It is an absolute joy to watch how much our students love to be silly and creative with you both, and the degree to which your kindness and spirits encourage them to reach for the stars.  We loved adding these events to our PTA repertoire this year, let us know what you want to see for next year!

Reminder, there is no school Friday.  In case you forgot.  Like me.  Twice.

What else is on the horizon for our Bushy Park Families?
