The Bushy Park PTA is proud to support a wide variety of programs that enrich our students’ learning, strengthen our school community, and make the elementary years unforgettable. From cultural arts assemblies and field trip funding to family events and teacher support, our programs are powered by volunteers and fueled by your generosity.
REFLECTIONS
Reflections is a national arts program that encourages students to explore their creativity through original works of art in categories like dance, film, literature, music, photography, and visual arts. Each year’s theme inspires students to reflect and express themselves in unique and meaningful ways.
GIRLS ON THE RUN
Girls on the Run is an after-school program that combines running with lessons on confidence, friendship, and goal-setting. Open to girls in grades 3–5, the program builds physical and emotional strength—ending with a celebratory 5K that shows girls they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.
SCHOLASTIC
BOOK FAIR
The Scholastic Book Fair brings the joy of reading to our school! Students and families can shop a wide selection of books while supporting our school—every purchase helps fund classroom libraries, reading programs, and more. It’s a fun way to spark a lifelong love of reading!
BELONGING TOGETHER
Belonging Together is a fun-filled family event celebrating the diverse cultures of Bushy Park! It’s a joyful opportunity to learn, share, and connect through food, music, traditions, and community spirit.
STEM AND
CAREER NIGHT
STEM and Career Night inspires students to explore science, technology, engineering, and math, while learning about exciting career paths. Local professionals share their experiences, hands-on activities spark curiosity, and families engage together in discovering future possibilities.
JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT
Junior Achievement empowers students with real-world financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness skills through interactive lessons and activities. Volunteers from the community guide students as they prepare for success beyond the classroom.
