Sunday Scoop, December 21 edition — Wrapping Up 2025 Together

Dear Bushy Park Families-

 As we wrap up 2025 together, we want to say thank you to our incredible Bushy Park community—families, staff, volunteers, and supporters—who make our school such a special place. Whether you donated, volunteered, cheered from the sidelines, or simply showed up, your support made a difference.  To everyone who attended our first cookie swap, thank you and I'll send you the bill for my January gym membership.  KIDDING.  The cookies were delightful, the company was even better, and the silly sweater contest was unmatched.  A huge congratulations again to our winners- The Benedetti Family (best cookie) and Baileigh G (silliest sweater).  Can't wait to see what we cook up next year!

Dates to remember:

• December 22: Gifts of Gratitudecloses.  Optional but definitely a fun and easy way to spread holiday cheer, and still open through tomorrow for all you last minute holiday heroes.

• December 24- January 4: Winter Break!  May your days be merry, and your coffee be strong.

• January 5: School Reopens!  Parties are optional, but definitely do something for you.

• January 6: PTA meeting with special Guest Samantha Misettatalking about sensory needs in the elementary aged kiddo.  Available as a hybrid, but as always you are entered into a raffle if you attend in person.

• January 9: Bingo Night!  Session one is at capacity, but we'd love to see you for session 2.  Don't forget to register.

• January 23: Talent Show, sign upand don't forget to practice your act over break.

• February 27:  The Science Fair, register your project or volunteer.

Thank you again on behalf of all of us here at PTA headquarters.  From fundraisers, to fun nights, you made 2025 shine.  Here's to 2026 bringing more hoy, less laundry, and fewer forgotten spirit days. We’re wishing you cozy moments, joyful connections, and a restful break as we head into the new year. Warm wishes to all—we’ll see you in 2026!
