Scoop There it is: the Spring Break Edition

Happy Sunday Bushy Park Family!

This week’s Scoop is (hopefully) short, sweet, and probably covered in crumbs because spring break is here!  Whether you’re traveling far (and may the TSA odds be ever in your favor), staying local, or just trying to remember what day it is without the school schedule to guide you, we hope your week includes a little rest, a little fun, and maybe even a moment where no one asks you for a snack.

A few quick notes before we all fully lean into break mode:

  • There’s no school this week, which means no meetings, no events, and no “don’t forget…” emails (you’re welcome).

  • If you find yourself at school out of pure habit…you’re not alone. It happens to the best of us and let's be real, I may sneak up and do some gardening anyway.

  • When we return, we’ll hit the ground running with all the spring things so enjoy the pause while it lasts.

Coming up after break:

We have added another fun after school program for you to check out, Drum classes with our very own Mr. Tez and Mr. VanMeter!  Check out the listings on our website for this and more exciting classes.  Reminder that registration for Volleyball closes April 15.

Registration for Belonging Night Tables has opened, we would love for you to sign up and represent yourself, your traditions, or your interests with our school family on April 24.  This event will be free and open to all to attend.

Bushy Blooms order deadline has been extended to Wednesday, April 8th

Order online here.  Pick up will be on Saturday, May 9th from 9am-12pm.   Spend $30 or more and you are automatically entered into a raffle to win a beautiful hanging basket.    New this year!  Visit our spring yard sale during Bushy Blooms pickup. Reserve your space to sell your own goodies.

Our Next PTA Meeting will be April 7, after returning from Spring Break.  Special guest speakers will include our very own Ms. Z and Mr. Csajko to talk about Field Day, as well at PTAHC President Cat Carter for an update on countywide PTA efforts.

We’ll see you back soon, refreshed(ish) and ready to go.
