Dear BPES Families,

As we approach the final days of the school year, I find myself reflecting on what an incredible journey this has been. After nine years as a parent in this school and serving in various volunteer roles and PTA roles—most recently as President—I’m writing this final weekly note with a full heart and deep gratitude.

It has been an unforgettable chapter, and now it’s time for our family to officially graduate to middle school. As we wrap up the year, I just want to say: thank you. Thank you for showing up, signing up, donating, volunteering, and making this community so special.

To our board members: thank you for making magic happen behind the scenes. And to every parent who’s been part of this ride—whether for one year or ten—you’ve made this school feel like home.

To the incoming PTA team—I hand off the baton with confidence in your vision and passion. Your turn will be amazing. The binder may be heavy and the closets overflowing, but so is the love behind it.

Partnering with such dedicated families, passionate educators, and committed volunteers, we’ve built more than events and fundraisers—we’ve built connection, support, and lasting memories for our children. Thank you all for being part of this vibrant community. I hope your summer is full of rest, laughter, and just the right amount of chaos.

Wishing you all a restful, ice-cream-filled summer!

It has been an honor to serve our community.

With gratitude,

Voula Augustin

PTA President (Signing off one last time!)
