The 2025 Bushy Bear Dash 3K and 1-Mile Fun Run is more than just a run - it’s a major community celebration at Bushy Park Elementary School! On Saturday, November 15, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, students, families, and friends will come together to run, walk, and cheer in a morning full of school spirit, music, and fun.

This year’s all-new run setup offers both a 3K course and a 1-mile course open to adult and child runners, making it perfect for all ages and abilities. Plus, there will be exciting class and grade-level participation and fundraising competitions - the grade that has the most students register for the Dash and the grade that raises the most money will earn special rewards!

THE COURSE
The Dash will start near the staff parking lot at Bushy Park and head toward Old Bushy Park, then Glenwood Middle School, before returning to Bushy Park Elementary. Look for signage on race day to follow the 3K route or the 1-mile route.

Enjoy a variety of food options on-site during the event! Food trucks will include Dive Coffee Roasters (delicious coffee), Lyfe Truck 2 (smoothies & acai bowls), and more. The PTA will also be providing free water for all participants.

Registration includes an event t-shirt and entry into the student raffle drawing. Students can also create their own participant page to collect donations for the class- and grade-level competitions. Don't forget to select your child's HOMEROOM TEACHER when completing registration!

Whether you show up as a superhero, a silly animal, or your most creative character, this mini-race is all about fun, flair, and photo-worthy moments. Inflatables highly encouraged for max amusement.​
