"Good morning Bushy Park,

My name is Viraj Sodhi and I wanted to share a special festival that many people in India are celebrating. The festival is called Holi, which represents new beginnings and is celebrated by throwing colorful powder on each other. The colors represent a new, bright and colorful beginning. You can celebrate Holi today. You don’t necessarily need colorful powder to brighten up someone’s day. You can help a friend in need, be kind to someone, play with someone during recess who doesn’t have a friend to play with. I’m sure that would bring a smile to anyone’s face and make their day a little brighter.

A special shout out to my teacher Mrs. Bauer, my entire class and by brother Vihaan.

Happy Holi Bushy Park!"

Thanks to our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee for this contribution.
