Online Activities

School may be closed, but the PTA is not.  We’re actively working on activities to keep our young learners engaged and virtually connected during this unprecedented time.

This is a collaboration between Running Brook Elementary School PTA and our PTA. Please take advantage of the following resources and consider adding to them.

Bushy Park & Running Brook Tales & Activities

Jaxon and Jacob Brown read Little Blue Truck Leads the Way
Author: Alice Shertle

The Hinman girls read The Good Egg

Author: Jory John

Viraj and Vihaan make Glow Crystals!  You can make them at home too!

Story Time & Activities

  • Storyline Online: Storyline Online, streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations.

  • Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems:  Mo Willems invites YOU into his studio every day for his LUNCH DOODLE. Learners worldwide can draw, doodle and explore new ways of writing by visiting Mo’s studio virtually once a day for the next few weeks. Grab some paper and pencils, pens, or crayons and join Mo to explore ways of writing and making together.

  • Fluency & Fitness: Practice phonics concepts and math facts while being active!

  • Go Noodle: If you are a teacher then you probably already know that GoNoodle isn't just a company, it’s a movement (quite literally) -- a social shift with intention -- to create more active media for kids.

  • Cool Progeny & Kids Concerts: Children's Musicians Across the Globe Perform Online Kids Concerts
