Reflections is a National PTA Program. The Reflections program give students the opportunity to share their feelings and express thoughts and ideas creatively through Dance, Literature, Music, Photography, Visual Arts, and Film/Video. Over 500,000 students participate annually in this cultural arts program. Last year over 4,500 Maryland students form 201 PTA's participated. Also for the 2005-06 school year Bushy Park Elementary had three students selected from the county level to represent Howard County at the state level. The students entering this rewarding program at Bushy Park receive recognition for participating. Visual and literature entries are displayed locally. In culminating the years' program an awards ceremony is held honoring all the Reflections students.
