FOOD STORE PROGRAM:
The following food stores and regular stores offer bonus card programs. By signing up and designating Bushy Park as your school, money is earned from the purchases you make.
Safeway, Giant A+ Bonusbucks and Food Lion MVP.
Target credit card: if you designate Bushy Park a percentage of your purchase will go to Bushy Park.
Office Depot: when making purchases at the store tell cashier to designate a portion of your purchase to Bushy Park.
2006 earnings:
Safeway 1/06 – 8/06 $1,589.07 Bushy Park has 248 card users signed up.
Giant 1/06 – 12/06 $835.09 Bushy Park has 147 card users signed up.
BOX TOPS PROGRAM:
Clip box tops from the following products: General Mills, Pillsbury, Yoplait yogurt, Betty Crocker, Old El Paso, Totinos, Nature Valley granola bars, Chex mix, Pop secret popcorn and Ziplock. Each box top earns your school 10 cents. Go to boxtops4education.com for a list of participating products.
2006 earnings:
2/06 $550.04 and 10/06 $609.00. A total of $1159.04 was earned in 2006 by clipping box tops.
Other box tops for education programs:
Box Tops Visa card: 1% of every purchase will be donated your school.
Box tops for education booster club. Sign up on the website to receive money saving coupons, easy meal ideas and latest news from box tops.
Box tops marketplace: Log on through boxtops4education.com and go to box tops marketplace when shopping at over 60 online stores, designate Bushy Park and a portion of your purchase will go to Bushy Park.
WINTER BOX TOPS CLIP-A-THON:
Want to earn extra time one day at recess for your class? Send in all of those trimmed box tops you have been collecting and turn them in to your teacher. Class totals will be counted each week. The class that collects the most box tops by Feb 16th will win extra recess time. Also, the family who sends in the most box tops will receive a prize. Please be sure to put your box tops in a ziplock bag, with your name, grade and teacher’s name marked on it.
