Dear Bushy Park Families,

Well, summer is finally here! We have had an absolutely great 2007-08 school year and the PTA is already
planning for our 2008-09 school year activities. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your support these past 2 years of my presidency. I have had a wonderful time and have loved every minute of it.

Thank you to the PTA chairs and board members. You made my job so easy! You are all so dedicated on making the school the best it can be for the students and families.

Thank you Mrs. Straw for working with me the past 2 years and always being willing to listen to the concerns of the PTA. Together we can do so much more for the students.

Thank you to the Bushy Park staff and teachers. Your support and praise for our PTA means the world to us.

Last, but certainly not least, thank you so much to the parents and families of Bushy Park. You have been so supportive and appreciative of the PTA words cannot express all of my gratitude. You are always so willing to volunteer and help us at our activities, fun nights, or events. We would be nothing without you!

I am very excited for our new Board of Directors, lead by our new President Chaun Hightower, to start setting up our next school year. I know it will be filled with exciting family fun nights and activities. I even know of some new programs they are starting, so be looking for them in flyers next year!

Make sure you continue to check the PTA website throughout the summer for dates and times of activities for the upcoming school year.
